Emanuel Misghinna

Emanuel Misghinna is the Chief Operating Officer for Terra ENR. For the past ten years, Emanuel has led the origination, structuring, and execution of oil and gas infrastructure deals. He was part of the management team of a consortium seeking to acquire OML 25 from Shell (Shell’s divested 30K producing asset). He was also involved in developing the NIPP power generation expansion ventures (1,000 MW) in Nigeria. He is also the Managing Director for Rematco Energy.
Previously, Emanuel was a Principal in Oil and Power deals at Nemrod SA. He has also worked for MacMillan Group, Pentium Fund, and Deutsche Bank, where he was involved in the valuation of Energy companies, mostly IOCs and mid-cap E&P companies.
He has published articles on Power in the Financial Times, and a variety of other business topics in the African Business Magazine and other well-known publications in the region.
He has also written for the African Union and the United Nations on energy investments in Africa. He has an MA from the University of Warwick.
