Richard (Rick) Petree is the Chairman of Terra ENR. For over fifteen years, Rick has advised energy project developers, independent power producers, large international utilities, solar equipment manufacturers, specialist energy fund managers, and clean technology financings and transactions around the world. He is also the Chairman of Rematco Energy.

He spent six years in the New York team of the Virginia-based investment bank, Ewing Bemiss & Co as a Managing Director. His earlier investment banking career was with S.G. Warburg & Co., as a Managing Director both in London and New York.He is a graduate of Oxford University with first-class honors and Harvard Law School, JD, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.

He also practiced law at Hale & Dorr (Boston) and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett(New York). He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
